Black Friday knocks out everything, including that 50 GB

Prixtel is a virtual mobile operator that relies on the SFR network for its offer. In other words, when you subscribe to a mobile plan with him, you have a contract and customer service from him, while taking advantage of the SFR antenna network. There are loads of MVNOs in France and Prixtel is one of the most popular.

In recent years, it has experienced thunderous growth thanks to mobile plans that are always cheaper than the competition. This is still the case during this Black Friday period with a range divided into three subscriptions. The mobile plan that stands out, however, is the Oxygen which starts at 9.99 euros per month for 50 GB.

More specifically, this mobile plan contains unlimited calls, SMS and MMS and 50 GB for 9.99 euros per month. The MVNO is however flexible in case of overrun since the user can go up to 90 and 130 GB respectively per month if necessary.

This formula is similar to a kind of 3-in-1 subscription: by default, you will be charged 9.99 euros for use up to 50 GB. If you are between 50 and 90 GB per month, the MVNO will will then ask for 12.99 euros monthly. Beyond and up to 130 GB, you will have to pay 15.99 euros for this Oxygen package.

Rather than bludgeoning you with non-package, Prixtel therefore offers a scalable package that adapts to your uses. Whether for 50 GB, 90 GB or 130 GB, the data-price ratio is always very convincing. If you have wide variations in your mobile data usage, this is a wise choice.

Two other advantageous packages for 6 months

Apart from this offer, you have the choice with two other subscriptions at very preferential prices… but only for the first 6 months. It is therefore up to you to judge whether you want to sign up for a long-term relationship with Prixtel with the Oxygen package or whether you prefer to pay as little as possible in the short term.

The first mobile plan with this package is called Le grand. It also contains unlimited calls, SMS and MMS and 100 GB for 10.99 euros per month. In other words, for an extra euro, you have double the data of the Oxygen formula. Beyond the first 6 months, this same subscription will then increase to 13.99 euros per month.

But like the Oxygen package, this Le grand version also allows for flexibility in terms of data. Also in the first 6 months, you can also go up to 120 GB for 13.99 euros or 140 GB for 16.99 euros per month. These two levels will also rise by 3 euros each after this very advantageous short-term period.

If you have an exceptional use of data on your mobile, the Le Géant mobile plan will be perfectly suited. From a value for money point of view, it is also very attractive for the first 6 months: unlimited calls, SMS and MMS and 140 GB are priced at 12.99 euros per month. Beyond the first half-year, the price for this data envelope will rise by 3 euros to reach 15.99 euros per month.

Similar to Le grand and Oxygène, the Le Géant formula also comes with three levels of dynamic data. In addition to the standard 140 GB, you can go up to 170 GB and even 200 GB per month with this mobile plan. Here too, the price is advantageous: 15.99 euros per month for the 170 GB (then 18.99 euros per month thereafter) and 18.99 euros per month for the 200 GB (then 21.99 euros thereafter).

Why did Prixtel convince us?

Obviously, the question of price is essential to distinguish one telecom operator from another. For Black Friday, we can only recognize that Prixtel is making a real effort compared to the competition. If you need to optimize your mobile budget, this is a very wise choice. While most competitors are now above 17 euros per month for a similar volume of data, the MVNO is a good solution.

But beyond the pricing, Prixtel is also a safe bet: it has no time commitment, allows you to change in a few clicks online and it is even carbon neutral. At any time, you can follow your consumption to see where you stand. If necessary, you can also contact its customer support, which is based in the south of France.

If you are ready to change operator while keeping the same number, the procedure is simple: just call 3179 to obtain your RIO code. The latter allows you to transfer your phone number for free to Prixtel. Once you have received it, you will need to enter it into the registration form on the operator’s site. The transfer procedure will then be initiated. At the same time, you will begin the automatic cancellation procedure for your current mobile plan.
