Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023: her first words after her election

Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadeloupe, was crowned Miss France 2023 on the night of this Saturday December 17 to Sunday December 18, 2022. In front of the members of the jury composed of actor Francis Huster, comedian Bérengère Krief, judoka Clarisse Agbegnenou , Miss France 2013 Marine Lorphelin, screenwriter Dominique Besnehard, actor Arnaud Ducret and singer Kendji Girac, thousands of spectators in the hall of MACH 36 in Châteauroux and millions of viewers, she had declared during the evening that she would dedicate her term to supporting women with cancer.

This Sunday, December 18, 2022, Indira Ampiot gave her first press interviews the day after her coronation. She, who is from Basse Terre, dedicated her victory to her family, and in particular to her late grandmother.
“She would have been very proud” she revealed before adding: “This trophy is revenge for me. I wanted to prove that at 18 you could accomplish great things. Age does not define maturity”.
