Implicated in around 20 murders in Thailand, Nepal and India in the same years, he was arrested in 1976 and spent 21 years behind bars. Upon his release in the late 1990s, he moved to Nepal where he was again arrested. He was eventually sentenced to life the following year of his arrest.
