Lean Pork Stir-Fry with Potatoes and Onions
Attention, Sunday lunch recipe! Indeed, you will need 3 hours of preparation to enjoy this delicious sautéed pork with potatoes and onions. But don’t we say that “the longer it is, the better it is”? With a little patience, you will delight your guests.
Peel and slice the onions.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan.
Brown the pork pieces on all sides for 5 minutes.
Remove pork from pot and set aside.
Add the onions to the pan and brown them for 5 minutes, stirring well.
Remove the onions from the pot and set them aside as well.
Pour the cornstarch into the pot and stir for 3 minutes.
Pour in the white wine and the meat broth and mix well.
Heat until boiling then season with salt and pepper.
Add the pork pieces to the pan.
Mix well and simmer for about 2½ hours.
Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces.
After 2h30, add the golden onions and the pieces of potatoes to the casserole.
Continue cooking for another 30 minutes, stirring regularly.
Serve hot.
